We have received several inquiries about a QuickBooks download over time, and we know several of our business customers use QuickBooks. So we are glad to be able to respond to your interest, and we hope you find this new service helpful in operating your business more efficiently. This service is free and is immediately available to all Bank of Dickson online banking users.
We have compiled this tutorial to help you get started with downloading to QuickBooks. While we are always happy to help assist you in any way, Intuit Support for QuickBooks may be better suited to assist you with some issues as QuickBooks is an Intuit product developed specifically for the business accounting software market.
So let’s get started!
What is required to access the QuickBooks download?
You must be a Bank of Dickson Online Banking user to access this download. Registration for Online Banking can be found at our home page.
How do I use the QuickBooks download?
This very direct and simple method allows you to create a QuickBooks Online (QBO) export file of all transactions within a specific date range. (see screen shot below) Go to the Export tab and enter the account and date range of the needed transactions. Click the “Download Data” button and save the QBO file locally on your workstation, and then import the file once you are inside QuickBooks. This integration method is also called WebConnect by Intuit.

You will also notice an “Update PFM” button on the export page. This button will activate your QuickBooks application and initiate a DirectConnect session between QuickBooks and Online Banking. DirectConnect is an Intuit integration tool which allows for two-way data exchange between QuickBooks and our Online Banking services. To learn more about Intuit’s DirectConnect, go to support.quickbooks.intuit.com and type “What is DirectConnect?” into the search box.
